I am a member and officer of the Kalamazoo Amateur Radio Club and the Southwest Michigan Amateur Radio Team. Portage is a suburb of Kalamazoo, Michigan and is located about 35 miles east of the shores of Lake Michigan. The picture on the QSL card is one of the local dunes in South West Michigan.

I normally work the general bands on phone, PSK31, RTTY, FeldHell and Olivia.

My current station is an Icom 718 for digital work and an FT 840 for CW and phone. The tuner is an LDG Z11 Pro going into an 80 meter all band dipole.  PSK signal monitoring is done using the KF6VSG PSK meter.

The station includes a dual band FT-7800 for local contacts and occasional VHF band openings. I am also active with the local Emergency Management office and am a RACES/ARES member. You can QSL direct, via eQSL.cc.  I also upload my log to lOTW on a regular basis.  I will also upload for special requests.
