I am a member of the Kalamazoo Amateur Radio Club and the Southwest Michigan Amateur Radio Team. Portage is a suburb of Kalamazoo, Michigan and is located about 35 miles east of the shores of Lake Michigan. The picture on the QSL card is one of the local dunes in South West Michigan.

I normally work the general bands on phone, PSK31, RTTY, FeldHell and Olivia. Recently have also started working CW.

My current station is an Icom 718 for digital work and an FT 840 for CW and phone. The tuner is an LDG Z11 Pro.  PSK signal monitoring is done using the KF6VSG PSK meter.  I am also working morse code and am looking for slow code contacts on any of the bands.  Mostly hang around 7.110 MHz fumbling with Mr Morse' code. 

The station includes a dual band FT-7800 for local contacts and occasional VHF band openings. I am also active with the local Emergency Management office and am a RACES/ARES member. You can QSL direct, via eQSL.cc.  I also upload my log to lOTW on a regular basis.  I will also upload for special requests.  My antennas are a 80M center fed Zepp up 35 ft and an S9 vertical for 10-40 M.  QSL via LOTW, EQSL, Buro and direct.  No SASE needed.
