Click for more detail... QSL via: Direct or LOTW **U.S. stations please SASE. If SASE not available, I'm happy to QSL 100%. If paper QSL not available, please use LOTW. **DX Stations will be QSL'd 100%. If this is not available, please use LOTW.** I started in Amateur Radio back during December 2006. In February of 2008, I had my General Class. During the summer of 2008, I became an Accredited VE. Now studying towards my Extra & trying to learn code. Code is a neat, efficient way to go about communications when voice is not an efficient choice. I'm a person who loves digital modes and looking forward to covering all the bands / all modes in the future to come. I use a Kenwood TS-570D for HF with a 102 foot G5RV up three stories from 80 up to 10 Meters. I hope to be on 160 & 60 Meters in future months. For FM, I use a Yaesu FT-8900R with a Comet GP-15 tri-band vertical, also up three stories. HF power is 100 watts and FM is 50 watts from the FT-8900R. HT's in the shack are 1 Yaesu VX-170 for 2 Meters, 1 Yaesu VX-177 for 70CM, and 1 Alinco DJV-27T for 1.25 Meters. I'm mostly an HF operator who loves all the bands. I like checking into various nets, contesting, ragchewing, and working to earn WAS on all the bands. You'll sometimes find me on the 3905 Century Net. When not operating, I'm busy spending time as a freelance writer / photographer and spending time with my family. I cover multiple topics as a writer to include a radio blog called "Shortwave America". http://shortwaveamerica.blogspot.com Last modified: Fri Dec 12 08:25:45 2008 Does this page contain inappropriate content?
