##################### Pictures Below########################################

Here are some motorcycle trip pictures.  This was a solo trip a few years ago to the Southwestern U.S.A.

2003 Suzuki Bandit 1200 Modifications:

JE 11:1 Compression 1216cc Pistons, '92 GSXR1100 Intake/Exhaust Cams, Engine & Cylinder Head Ported by 4&6 Performance - Skokie, IL, Yoshimura RS-3 Full System, Ivan's Jet Kit, Hayabusa Rear Shock...When properly fitted with "AirHawk" motorcycle seat, the Suzuki Bandit is very comfortable on 600-700 mile days.

Relaxing On The Patio:

Primary Rig is TS-480SAT.

I also appreciate Kenwood hybrids (Using TS-520S Hybrid with MC-50 Microphone).  I'm impressed that 30 year old rigs get as good, or better, audio reports than my newer equipment.

Other Hobbies:   Camping Trip 2012- Ashley National Forest, Flaming Gorge Rec. Area, Utah.  It's a lot of fun to set up the tent, throw a wire dipole up into the trees, and work distant stations on battery power.  No email.  No cell phone.  Just some wire in the pine trees.

Also own one of these, the Kenwood TS-830S...

For those looking to achieve Worked-All-States status, I'd suggest the North American Traffic and Awards Net (NATA Net).  This is a friendly, informal group.  No membership required.  It meets on 40 meters every night at 00:00 Zulu (6:00pm Central Time) on 7185 khz.
