In July of 2008 I recieved my Technician License and in September of 2008 recieved my General License. I operate on 2 meters on a Yaesu FT-2800M. I operate on HF with a set of Kenwood 599 Twins and a Kenwood TS-130SE mostly on 40 and 80 meters on voice PSK31 and SSTV. I'm enjoying getting to know more and more of the Minot and other area hams and am a member of the Souris Valley Amatuer Radio Club. They are a great group of guys, are very supportive and usually have the answers when you've got questions. I enjoy our local Sunday Night Nets on 2 meters.
