If you work me while I am mobile, please include both sent and recieved signal reports.

I was introduced to ham radio by my grandfather, KØVOC, Oscar Halvorson. In July of 2008 I recieved my Technician License and in September of 2008 recieved my General License.

I operate on 2 meters on a Yaesu FT-2800M. I operate on HF with a set of Kenwood 599 Twins and a Kenwood TS-130SE  mostly on 40 and 80 meters on voice PSK31 and SSTV.

I'm enjoying getting to know more and more of the Minot and other area hams and am a member of the Souris Valley Amatuer Radio Club. They are a great group of guys, are very supportive and usually have the answers when you've got questions. I enjoy our local Sunday Night Nets on 2 meters.

I enjoy operating on traffic and data nets:

North American Traffic and Awards Net
North Dakota Data Net: 3.937 M-F 6:30pm CST

North American Traffic and Awards Net:
3905 kHz at 0245z  Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat
