I’ve been licensed since 1992.  In 2002, I upgraded to General from Tech Plus.  Needed to pass the CW portion since my tech license never did show T-plus.  Sigh.

Active in the San Gorgonio Pass ARC (see W6PRC on this site) , and– until being deposed in a coup– I am privileged to serve as an E.C. our county's RACES unit (Google RIVCORACES.ORG).   

Goals in ham radio include reasonable proficiency in CW and upgrading to Extra Class.  

When not building things in my metal shop, I occasionally sub teach in special education. Other pursuits include classical music (basso offendo-baritone in our community choir), re-learning piano under the tutelage of my wife, dirt roading in our vintage Jeep (dirt roads are good; paved roads are…paved), camping, church activities, shooting, and life with my lovely XYL, Michele, and our (now-adult-age) children.
