I'm an incoming freshman at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan.  I hope to graduate with a degree in marketing and become a small business owner in northern Michigan.

I was a student at Lakeview High School in Battle Creek, Michigan for all four of my high school years.  During those four years I participated in junior varsity tennis and DECA, a club that any high school student should look into if they have an interest in business.

For equipment I have: Samlex SEC-1223 23 Amp switching power supply, Yaesu FT-1802M, Yaesu VX-170 (w/ drop-in rapid charger and waterproof speaker mic), Kenwood TM-D710A (mobile install), two homebuilt VHF j-pole antennas, homebuilt VHF folding copper j-pole antenna, Workman SX-144/430 SWR Wattmeter, CSB-790A antenna with K400S for mobile trunk/hatchback lip mounting, and a Uniden BCD996T digital trunktracking IV scanner.  I have had great experiences using all of this equipment.

I mostly monitor the local repeaters and enjoy talking to the local operators on 2m and 70cm.  One of my biggest interests is ARES, RACES, and SKYWARN.  Participating with these groups of people helps build knowledge and friendships while doing something that I like to do.
