Thanks for checking out my QRZ page.

Radio stuff:

My rig is currently a Kenwood TS-140S (100W) that I picked up for $200 and repaired the S-Meter Backlight and Fixed a serious RX problem caused by a botched modification. All in all, $200 for an all HF rig, not bad. I also added the Piexx CAT control board and replaced a bad Microphone with an MFJ 'el cheapo'

My antenna is a homebrew Half-Wave Dipole about 35-40 foot above ground, seems to work quite well. The antenna is ran through a MFJ-945E tuner.

I like working digital modes, PSK31 and SSTV are a favorite of mine. I recently added a SignaLink USB to the station and it worls very well.

The power supply is a 75W Chineese knock-off and cost me $50 and has worked for over a year!

Where can I be Found:

I try to monitor 40m (currently above 7.175) cause I REALY like 40m. and I can be found on 14.230 for SSTV

In Dayton you can find me on the WC8OH 2m Repeater

About me:

I am a member and Net control operator for the local ARES here is Dayton, OH (144.110 every wednesday @ 8:00PM)

I was first licensed in 2008 and upgraded to General in 2010 and I am studying for the Extra class and hope to take the test in the next couple months.
