I go by Dave, my middle name, rather than James. Retired from Eastern Illinois University in January 2000. Profession was assistant comptroller.

My recent goal is to learn Spanish. I have been studying Spanish for about 5 years and spend about two to three weeks in Oaxaca, Mexico each year studying in a language school. I am slowly getting better but it is a challenge.

Radio goal is to put up an antenna for 160 in limited space and work more DX entities.
