Retired Military in 1986. ordained into the gospel ministry in 1980,currently a Sergeant with the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office. Additional duties other than plain clothes officer are that of Chaplain ( 1 of 2 volunteer Chaplains for CCSO). Currently serving as minister of music for Bible Baptist Church on Hope Mills Road (voluntary) and have been for the past 15 years. Also Chaplain for Greater Cumberland Fraternal Order Of Police Lodge #59, Fayetteville. Married to Dianne for 33 years,...and two children, Melissa and James.

I hold a tech plus license and have a HTX 202 two meter rig (hand held) and a 10 meter base-mobile rig which I use in and out of the house.
