You know my name but who am I? (fourth from left...the one with the hat on) I am a Active Duty Air Force member and (former) Taylor County Texas Storm Spotter, currently a Central Arkansas (Faulkner County) storm spotter in the beginning phases of the radio thing.

My job in the Air Force is very exciting and takes me to many places around the world. My specialty is C-130 E and H1 Loadmaster.

Gulf War I and Global War on Terrorism, or (Persian Gulf War II) Vet. with several deployments under my belt.  Assignments Tinker AFB, OK 5 years, 507 CES USAF Res., 2 Airlift Squadron, Pope AFB, NC 4+ years, 62 Airlift Squadron, Little Rock AFB, AR 7.5 years, 39 Airlift Squadron, Dyess AFB, TX, 4 years and currently 62 Airlift Squadron.

My greatest accomplishment in the USAF so far has to be the Gode, Ethiopia flood/Humanitarian Airlift of 128 tons of supplies.

Storm Spotting experience, five years with my own real life experiences.

Education: Assoc. of Science Degree, Aircrew Operations and all weather classes offered from Embery Riddle Aeronautical University.

I enjoy PSK, RTTY and other digital modes, voice, home-brew antennas, working on towers, and helping other when able.

In the Shack:  Kenwood TS-940, Kenwood SP-940, Kenwood SM-220 and a Kenwood TH-D7A(G) with APRS.  APRS digipeater up and running. http://aprs.fi/?call=KE5OVE

I like working on ALL HF phone and digital (PSK-31).  I am learning CW, (the lost art).  Soon to be AF MARS station.

Antennas:  Hy-Gain TH-7DX, Alpha Delta 160-10 meter Dipole at 35 feet.  PD 80-10 meter dipole at 35 feet and my "little wonder" "homebrew" 20 meter vertical.

In the Truck:  Yaesu FT-8800R and 6 meter, 2 meter and 70 cm commercial radios converted to HAM bands (don't ask) and OT+ APRS.  Soon to come mobile webcam for storm spotting.

Other:  Volunteer Fire Fighter and EMT with the Vilonia Fire Department.

As of Feb 2009, I have mailed out ALL Certificates to the stations that sent me a QSL card.

Also, persons missing the UTC or Z time from your certs was intentional. Due to unmatched UTC or Z time.

I am still waiting on 70+ other QSL cards. I have moved to my current QTH as noted above. Please send $3.00 for postage for your certificates after this date.  These are 8 x 10 full color certificates.
