Reverend Robert J Spencer KE8DM became an amateur radio operator in 1982 with a Novice call of KA8OHJ while over sea's in Okinawa Japan with the U.S. Goverment. Upgraded in Devember 1984 to Technician N8GJU then to General in 1985 then in April 1986 to the Advanced Class with the call of KE8DM. From 1987 to 1990 Robert was in Okinawa Japan again with the Japanese call sign 7J6CAS. In June of 1990 Robert and the Family returned to the United States to live in Yuma Arizona. Robert's wife is Helen KA7VLV, they have two sons Johnathan KB8JGT and James KD7TCW all currently live in Yuma Arizona. Robert is a life member of ARRL, Radio Club of Okinawa, YDXA and CADXA. Robert was ordained as a Minister in 2000
