Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by my page. I'm a Master Sergeant in the US Air Force and I work on the Minuteman III ICBM (AFSC 2M073). It's a very rewarding job and I believe an important one. I'm originally from Wittenberg, Wisconsin but I'm stationed here in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
I've been an Amateur Radio operator since 1990 when I had the callsign KB9FMJ at age 11. My dad, K9AEG, is my elmer and I'm still learning from him all these years later. I recently (November 2013) passed my Amateur Extra. It was twenty years in the making but I finally took the time to study and finished it.
My current station consists of Icom IC-7200, Heil Pro Set, Ameritron AL-811 amplifier, Force 12 C-3SS triband Yagi, and a homebrew WARC rotatable dipole (built by my dad, K9AEG). I enjoy DXing on just about every band and pretty much every mode however, I spend a lot of time on CW. I'm open to schedules for individuals needing Wyoming for WAS. I just ask for patience and to be tactful to the agreed upon schedule.
Good DX and 73,
