I was first licensed in 2000. I have been active on the hf bands since March of 2007.

I am a member of the Flagler Emergency Communications Association. I am very active with the local Skywarn program. I received my first DXCC certificate in May of 2008. As of December 2013 I have DXCC on 6 bands (40, 20, 17, 15, 12, and10 meters).I recently got my 275 endorsement for my basic and phone DXCC certificates and have 290 entities confirmed on SSB. In August of 2013, I qualified for the DXCC Challenge Award.I recently qualified for the Honor Roll level for WPX mixed and SSB. My primary hf rig is a Yaesu FT-2000.My antennas include a High Gain TH3-MK4 up about 40 feet (height restrictions) and a GAP Titan DX vertical.I use a Tokyo Hy-Power HL-1.5Kfx amplifier, if necessary. I really enjoy serving as a volunteer examiner(VE).
