First lic in 1977, chased DX till 1996 and caught a few ie- 5BDXCC in 1981 & 5BWAZ in 1991. QRTed from 1997 to 2006.

Presently, I enjoy contesting (mostly cw) and working DX. Actually, I enjoy "spotting" the DX on 40,80 & 160 as much as qsoing.

During the "off season" I enjoy cw via the clubs SKCC & FISTS. Regarding qsls, Inow send to the LOTW system plus I will

answer ALL cards sent to me DIRECTLY. No need to send green stamps,sases irc's etc, I will return my card to

you via direct. Do not send qsls via the bureau, either use LOTW, EQSL or via Direct.

I work with all wire antennas & a 1kw amp (quadra), 2 transmit antennas (carolina windoms) & 4 beverage rx antennas. Age is 69

and semi retired.

A few words about the KG4 prefix & USA vs Guantanamo Bay.  2x1 and 2x3 KG4 calls are all USA calls and are

issued via FCC. Guantanamo Bay calls are all 2x2 KG4 calls and are issued in Gitmo. In reality, there are only about 27 active/semi

active Gitmo calls. Some Gitmo calls are - KG4BB,KG4CW,KG4DP,KG4EM,KG4FP,KG4FY,KG4GD,KG4HC,KG4JO,KG4JR,KG4KC

KG4KL,KG4KO,KG4LH,KG4LR,KG4ML,KG4MN,KG4NW,KG4OX,KG4QB,KG4RC,KG4SB,KG4SS,KG4TJ,KG4TR,KG4VL,KG4WV,

Many times during contests & dxing the om sez "my program shows you in Gitmo". If your logging program shows 2x1 and 2x3

KG4 calls in Gitmo, send me an email & I think I can tell you how to fix it so it will show USA for all except 2x2 KG4 calls.
