I was first licensed in 1997 as KF6MBG. I also held the following previous call signs, KQ6TV and AD6FV before becoming KG6D in 1998. I am from the days when you had to copy 20 WPM CW to become an Extra.

I also use the call ON/KG6D when in Belgium.

I am a Volunteer Examiner for both the ARRL  and the W5YI VE program and ARRL Assistant Emergency Coorinator for San Joaquin County.

My wife Tiny ( ON4CAT / KT6YL ) and I, met on the air in 2001, we became real close friends, and after we met a few times in person, she moved to California together with her dog (Dalmatian Cesta). Tiny(ON4CAT) and I got married on August 7th 2002.

Our station is a Icom 756ProIII, Tokyo Hy-Power HL-2.5K Amplifier, Force 12 C3 yagi up about 55FT (16.7 Meters) for 10-20 Meters. Dipoles hanging off the tower for 30-160 meters.

I am active on CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31. You can find me or Tiny rag chewing or chasing DX on the bands.

Tiny and I are also into contesting and are members of NCCC  (Northern California Contest Club)

I have a Yaesu FT857D for mobile operating.

Please QSL direct, or QSL via the buro or use the LOTW. I do not use EQSL. I enjoy exchanging QSL cards.
