160 Meter #1 150 ft high tower - rohn 25G, with insulated section centered at 15 ft. downsloping radials. In line feed capacitor (resonant at 1600 khz otherwise) brings to j50 + 0. -see picture
Radial visible encased in snow:
160 Meter #2 Dipole up 350 feet - one end at 450 feet and the other at 250 feet. Suspended by rope between 150 ft tower and 800 ft cliff.
80 METERS: 4 square array - using comtek. 4 full size elements of 1 inch diameter aluminum tubing, suspended from above by ropes which slope down from top of 160 meter vertical tower. 80 m verticals are ground mounted.
Tower 4: 6 meter EME
33 ft Rohn 55 G
MT-3000 elevation rotor, Orion 2800 azimuth rotor RC2800PRKX comtroller. PstRotator moon tracking sioftware
MOUNTAIN TOP ANTENNA:
Mountain top antenna (where my son anderew is sitting) is fed through 1200 feet of LDF7 (total loss 1.26 dB on 10 meters) and goes to top of 800 ft cliff just northeast of shack. There I have temporary 40/20/15/10 fan dipole for working europe (cliff blocks my view to NE from shack level)
7 beveredge directions (4 X 600 ft wires for E-W, N-S, NW-SE and SW (single direction) wires are fed on each end with W9AY pre-amps and 9:1 xfmrs and terminatings resistors. I use remote relay switching to alternate feed and termination.
Yaesu FT857 and 7 ft whip / auto tuner on rear of Hummer H3. Occasionallyl use trailer with 18 ft raisaable 6 meter beam for mountain topping
Interests are band-countries, contesting, vlf and making my 80 and 160 antennas better and better.
