The translation of Kane'Ohe is: "man of the tall bamboo". Long ago, ledgens write Hawaiian tribes here were very tall in this part of the island of O'Ahu. Located 1.4-km from the Pacific Ocean (Kane'Ohe Bay)on the Windward side of O'Ahu island (Grid#BL11CJ). ITU Zone 61, CQ Zone 31 and IOTA #OC19. I Look North with a clear shot at a negative ocean horizon. I'm on 160mtrs thru 432MHz & EME.Professionally I've been involved in Radio/Telecommunications since 1954.
