The picture you see is at Kailua Beach on the island of Oahu. In the picture with the hat is my wife Lita WH6BUJ, my daughter in the middle Nikki WH6CZA and myself.

Please visit my website www.garymscreations.com/kh6ib for pictures of the old rig set up but antennas are basically the same.

The present rig is a Elecraft K3 transceiver, KPA-500 linear amplifier, KTA-500 tuner.  It is presently set up to work remotely via  www.remotehamradio.com.  If you are interested in running my station in Hawaii please check the RHR site for more information.

I presently run my station using a Elecraft K3/0 mini because It is exactly like using the K3/100 with all functions.  WebDX  allows remote operation just using a computer with internet connection from anywhere.

Antenna's: Force12 yagi's C4SXL @ 21 meters,C3 @ 14 meters, C3S @ 7 meters and a 80 meter loop (presently down for repair). Two yagis are mounted on the 72 foot tower 30' apart. The fixed center yagi points to Europe. The fixed bottom yagi is on my balcony 30 more feet down points to the US.

To get a better view of the antenna system go to Google earth and enter 3448 Ala Akulikuli St, Honolulu Hi 96818. Go to full view then click on the camera centered in the picture. When the street view comes up scroll to the left and up to see my tower and stacked yagi system as mentioned above.

Mobile setup is a FT-857D, Hi-Q screwdriver antenna

We also have a VHF repeater tied to echolink, connect to  KH6IB-L to chat to local hams
