KH6WO is the club station of the Honolulu Amateur Radio Club. The HARC is the oldest ARC in Hawaii and has served the Amateurs in Honolulu, the island of Oahu, since the resumption of Amateur Radio after WWII. The HARC maintains a 2 meter repeater open to all and the IARU Beacon for Hawaii. If you want to know if the band is open to KH6, listen for the KH6WO/B. To learn more about the IARU world-wide HF beacons go to NCDXF.ORG and read the BEACON information. The Beacon is physically located 21deg38'27.09"N 157Deg 55'30.19"W and we do QSL beacon reports. The HARC does not have an HF club station so those amateurs visiting Honolulu and hoping to operate should look at KH6BB the club station on the Museum Battleship MISSOURI. The BMARC is your host at KH6BB. 73 John K1ER President HARC Last modified: 2011-01-22 02:09:19, 831 bytes cached
