Hello and thanks for checking out my page,I have got into older gear and running AM here and loving it.The first pic is my WRL Globe King 500A that i just picked up and begining restore at this time.I got the cabnit under primer and winter hit so not going to rush the paint job.Going to wait till warmer weather because the shop has no heat.It is in beautiful shape and working but im doing a total restore this winter like i have done the Jhonson Valiant. When im done the NC 300 will be paired with the Globe King and put on 80m and the Valiant will be my jump around rig.The RCA cabnit to the right of the pic holds a 127 pound peter diahl transformer, 2 russian gu43b tubes and has a remote console. It is not on the air as of right now and has been put on hold because of shortage of tank circuit parts and my recent find, the Globe King. My modern station is an Icom 7410,Icom 746 pro,Rigblaster Plus2,CN-801 meter,Ameritron rcs-4 switch box,Heathkit SB-1000 amplifier. My antennas are a TH-3 jr by Hygain at 55ft and a Antron 99 above it. I also have a Hygain 18AVT ground mounted Vertical 10 - 80m with the add on for 17m. I have two 6 meter PARs on the side of tower with 150ft ldf4 hardline fed to it,putting up two 2 meter pars.Have added a 124 foot vertical for 160m that is not in pic.CW key is a Vibroplex iambic that i have customized a little with wood base and carved paddles from oak, really feels good.Run a Lionel j-38 for straight key.I run the 746 pro for 2 and 6 cw and ssb and the 7410 for 10 -160.Mostly run cw but i still no where my mic is. Home made oil field dummy load. Home made 40m & 30m invertedV at only 30ft at apex over metal roof. Rotor is Hygain Ham-4. I love to work DX on 2, 6,10,12,15,17,20,30.I also have a new 30m Vertical i just built, and loving 30m cw and digital. I eqsl all qso's but only qsl direct 0n 2m and 6m.Would be happy to set up a skid for anyone wanting to work any mode on 2m or 6m,also work MS so just shoot me an email and hope to hear you on the air. Thanks for looking at my page and will see you on the air.73
