Hey! I'm glad you heard me on the air, and thanks for finding me on qrz.com. I'm not native to South Carolina: I was born in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Annapolis, Maryland in 1986 but I've been living near Charleston, South Carolina since 1997. In 2008 I graduated from college in Grinnell, Iowa with a degree in computer science, and I'm working in the IT department of Johnson & Johnson, Mgrs., Inc. (an insurance company). I've been fascinated with radio since before I can remember and finally got my ticket in the summer of 2007. Some [other] interests of mine include climbing, computers, electronics, hiking, and photography.

I enjoy making most of my contacts while working QRP, and to help me with that I've got a 40m dipole in my attic looking NNE-SSW. I can be found using PSK-31 occasionally, and am still planning on learning CW one of these days. For VHF I'm usually monitoring 146.79 MHz(-) or146.52 MHz locally.
