Thank you.* *(Thanks to all who have signed already)* I first became interested in Amateur Radio in the '60s and '70s growing up in the shadows of the Don Wallace (SK), W6AM station with its huge antenna farm on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. I only did SWL at that time. I didn't get my Ham license until March 2009 (small detours with school, work, family, etc.), but have always maintained an interest. Thanks to some awesome, new Ham friends (you all know who you are), I am making up for lost time. Thanks to all for being great Elmers to me. Thanks for all the help, suggestions and information on equipment, mobile installs and operating tips. Glad to be part of Amateur Radio and the great Ham community. My interests are Emergency Communications, talking on repeaters, and getting started in DX. Learning the code and looking forward to my first CW QSO as well.
