Later upgraded to Extra and decided to keep my call. Have worked numerous HF and VHF contests, and love to chase DX with my 100 watts into homebrew beam antennas. Ran a small antenna manufacturing company for a couple of years, now just building for friends and locals. Worked as an ICC Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) in a Northeast Georgia Regional Hospital for 10 years, and have now gone into semi-retirement as of 1 April 2012. I am active on 160 meters through 440 Mhz on SSB, but really enjoy running some CW when I'm up to it.WHEW!! 73’s es hp to wk u – Bill ARRL, 7240Club #618, 10-10 #73485 , 6 Club #2038, QCWA #31999, RCC, SEDXC, and the SECC Vice President Barrow Amateur Radio Club, ARRL Technical Specialist (RFI), ARRL VE, W5YI VE Last modified: 2012-04-19 23:33:04, 1664 bytes cached
