My boat-anchor station..

I got my HAM ticket Nov 2008 and work mostly CW..  I've worked CW since 1963, first in the US Navy (9.5 years) and then retired CWO (Comm) US Coast Guard after 13.5 more years..  ZUT!!

Rigs:    Swan 500, Kenwood TS-520S and an ICOM-718..

Antenna:  Home brew end-fed wire to a 4:1 Balun and cut to 67 feet.. Up 30 feet between a couple of oak trees on my property.. (like an old ZEP style ant)

Tunner:  MFJ Versa Tuner II loads the wire 80 thru 10 meters usually without too many issues..

I'm a member of SKCC #5218, the Coast Guard CW Operators Assoc.. ZUT #1563 (CW Forever!).. Coast Guard Speed Key certificate holder: Certificate No. 7-301.. My club is: LMARS (Lake Monroe Amature Radio Society) group here in central Florida.
