The Bob Jones High School Amateur Radio Club was established in 2009.

The station's equipment is:

• HF Antenna:   Hustler 5BTV
• VHF/UHF        Antenna: Cushcraft A27010S
• Tuner:             MFJ941E

This equipment was provided to the school by a stations in schools grant from the ARRL's Amateur Radio Education and Technology Program, through the efforts of the Huntsville Amateur Radio Club.

BJHS is part of the City of Madison school system. During the summer of 2009, eight teachers from all school levels attended the ETP Teacher's Institute on Wireless Technology. Materials and physical resources from that program are used in curricula throughout the school system.

The BJHS station serves as a resource for the entire Madison School System.
