Short Wave listening has alwaysbeen an intense hobby of mine. Being licensed as a ham has made it even more enjoyable. My beautiful wife's name is Jacquie. I enjoy experimenting with antennas. I run only a 100 Watts with a Yaesu FT-847 on HF. I monitor the local repeaters in Dahlonega, Ga., 146.835+ and 443.100+. I check-in often on the OMISS Net (www.omiss.net) on 3.9405 at 0200Z and Southcars Net on 7.251 I am Chief Radio Officer for the Dawson County RACES and a member of ARES and a member of SATERN.
