I got started in radio's late 80's early 90's, took a break for a couple of years and got back in last year, then the bug bit me to get licensed and explore the fun and excitement radio in the amateur bands. I took both theTech and GeneralClass Exams the same day and passed.

I have lived in Amador County most of my life and really love it here. Hope to make many good contacts so if you catch me on the air sometime, give me a call.

I enjoy working the Digital modes mostly due to being a low power station at this time, i am mostly doing JT65 on any band that is open and psk31 or any other mode that may be requested depending on conditions. Doing Voice/Phone is a challenge with only 100w pep to work with esp when there is a pileup but i have made contacts when i can.

Profile pic is looking toward Lake Tahoe on the other side of the Snow Capped Mountains from my Current QTH.

QSLs.

I use eQSL Within the hour of making a contact(downloaded instantly while working digital), i down load to LOTW at least once a week, i also log here on QRZ for DX(non US) contacts mostly but will log State side contacts here if requested. I am also good for HRD Log if you use that system. I am unable to sent direct paper Cards at this time being as my current Cards do not reflect my current Address or location, but will send one with corrections noted on the back of the card if one is wanted.

AS of 9/27/2012 i have Worked all 50 states and received the eQSL Mixed WAS Award. For LOTW Mixed WAS i need Delaware to comfirm for that Award. So please check your account/submit your logs to LOTW and help me out with these awards if you would, Thanks.

Happy .DXing.

Ed
