For a paper QSL please incluse a SASE and or $1 to cover postage. NO IRC's PLEASE!
Since the USPS decided to stop issuing IRC's the workers there have forgotten how to redeem them. Making them far more truble than they are worth.
I have earned both WAS and DXCC thru ARRL
Running Mobile I have a Yeasu FT-857D, Larry's Antennas Standard 160-6 Screwdriver, Signalink/Dell Laptop

Marine Mobile is an FT-897D using Hustler Verticals and a SGC-237 Auto Tuner. Its an Aluminum hull 21 foot Cutty Cabin so the Hustlers work very well with salt water as my ground plane. The LDG Tuner attached to the radio is used for operations like Field Day when I set up and operate as one of the KL7AIR Stations on Elmendorf AFB. As with the marine operation I use battery power alone on the ARRL Field Day Event. Running the radio with the boats engine running is possible the noise level is a tad high for any weak signal work so generally I am engine off when working DX from boat.
I am very active in the Elmendorf ARS aka EARS (KL7AIR) club and am also active in the Anchorage Amateur Radio Club aka AARC (KL7AA).
I am a former President of EARS and am the current Vice President of AARC. Am former Army MARS, currently I am active with Navy/Marine MARS.

If you hear me on the air and I say I am using a 900 foot loop, a 43 foot vertical or a TriBand Yagi I am operating from the KL7AIR Station.
I am a Navy MARS Op (NNN0VFH) and a former Army MARS Op (ALM7BC)
Look for me on HF Digital in the evenings usually JT65HF.
