The Mississippi Valley DX and Contest Club (MVDX/CC) was formed in 1976 to serve the DX'ing and contesting community in the greater St. Louis area, including St. Louis City, St. Louis County and the surrounding counties in both Missouri and Illinois. Since its formation MVDX/CC has grown from a small group of 16 hams to over 70 members, with an affiliate chapter located in Southwestern Missouri, MVDX/CC SW MO.

The Club's goals are to promote the working of DX and contests, to provide financial assistance to deserving DXpeditions, to provide assistance to Amateurs interested in learning more about DX'ing and contesting, and to have fun.

When visiting the St. Louis/Southern Illinois area, you can find MVDX/CC members on the local DX simplex tip-off frequency of 147.600 MHz.

Since September of 2005 MVDX/CC has sponsored the WØ QSL Bureau as a service to the Amateur Community. The majority of the Bureau's sorters are MVDX/CC members and part of each club meeting is devoted to matters of the Bureau. Click here, WØ QSL Bureau, for more information.

Please see club Website for additional information: www.mvdxcc.org

73, good DX and hope to see you in the next contest!
