First licensed in 1988 (KC4HGX) Rig in the shack is a Ten Tec Orion and antenna is a 4 Element STEPPIR 30/40 currently at 55 feet on a TX-455 crankup tower and a Ameritron Al-811H amp.

Other rigs in the shack are Ten Tec Omni VI option 3, Collins R388 Rx

Just got hooked on JT65isn't that the craziest mode? BUT ADDICTIVE!!! I'm usually on 20m and 40m JT-65 running 10-15 watts with the 4 Element Steppir.

Other interest going on now is EmComm. I am the EC for McCracken County and the Region1 ASEC forKentucky and riding my 1986 GL1200 Goldwing.

QSL is DIRECT or LOTW. I'll send a eQSL if you want one but I do not use eQSL.

Check out my 4 Element STEPPIR bouncing in the windThe antenna was up about 35 feet and with a NN4ZZ Tilt Plate (without the KarLock) and watch the wind tilt the antenna up. No damage but sure made me nervous the first time. I now have the KarLock installed!!
