ESSB AUDIO

Greetings if we just met and thanks for your visit. Grew up here on the island at age 10 I was given a pair of toy walkie talkies and that was it. Broke my first bone putting up a 109" whip on top of a A Frame metal roof. I took an Electronics Technician course via snail mail when I was 13 and finished it with the dictionary next to me knew very little english at the time, it was from LaSalle Extension University. At age 17 I had the oportunity to go to Europe and work with telecomunications.

Worked with radios, radars, remote sensors, satellites and their respective antenna systems. I have operated from , USA, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Austria, North Africa, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and of course for the last 18 years since my retirement from that line of work, I have operated from Puerto Rico. My main interest for the past 18 years has been the efforts to improve the quality of the audio ESSB and all my efforts are geared towards that goal. I speak spanish, english, german and italian and like to practice on the radio, lots of fun. I returned to college after having a four bypass open heart surgery and currently I'm a professor at the Interamerican University in Arecibo, PR. I jog a few kilometers every morning, play tennis as time allows and run some local marathons just for fun. I operated quite a bit from Kuwait City in 1991 via 20 meters with assistance of a good friend Yussef 9K2YA, whom I have never again ran into on any band. Got bitten by the VHF/UHF Dx bug and managed some contacts as far as Uruguay and Argentina on 2 meters. I operated on most satellites for the past 25 years and have done every mode and frequency matrix combination that has been available. Built and tested several satellite antenna systems.
