Thank you for verifying my QRZ my name is Luis Gerard.! In my early age of 7 years I became interested in the first two-way communication on the CB. In 1993 I became an amateur radio operator. My First license as class WP4MZK technician then continue studying till class achieve obtain the General and Extra class to call it obtained Some are KP4OPM KP4BZ and finally licensed as NP4RA.

My interests focus on CW right now over the past years. I have made many true friends who are 20 years and which state licensed and hope to do many more. I have recently become active with digital modes. If you listen to the bands, please say hello.

My favorite bands are 10,12,17 and 30 meter. I'm located in Puerto Rico, in the town of Toa Baja. If you are looking for here, perhaps you have a QSO with me or this pure curiosity. In case you have a QSO with me, was a great to be able to contact the place where I hope to copy in to new bands, on the island of Puerto Rico.

Currently am dedicated to digital modes , CW and JT65

For transmissions in digital modes I use the Yaesu ICOM 706 with 30 watts, software HRD- DM780 and interface SignaLink Tm Usb.

During the last State Convention of Puerto Rico Section could work with some friend to develop a balloon filled with helium which adapt emergency repeater experimentally with vision to prepare before any real emergency in the area of the Caribbean Group development modules fly emergency on the globe have opted for the following frequency modes who will be transmiting. The combination of cross band repeater frequency was selected considering that most number of hams have VHF radios can receive such signals and report their experiences and observations of flight.
