Licensed since 1978 (originally as WB2VEN). Returned to Amateur Radio in 2011 after 25 years of radio silence.

I operate 90% QRP CW.  QRP DXCC on 10, 12, 15, 17, 20 and 30m using only simple wire antennas.

I also enjoy portable operation, WSPR and other QRPp beaconing, SOTA chasing, digi modes, light contesting, satellites, making antennas, homebrew & kit building.

Antennas:  Main home QTH HF antenna is a G0FAH multiband dipole up 45'.  Portable - Homebrew Buddistick vertical, W3EDP, NorCal Doublet, End Feds, Delta Loops, Moxons for 6m, 2m & 70cm. Homebrew handheld dual VHF/UHF yagis & diplexer for sats.

Current QRP DXCC tally since August 2011 & last 10 worked :
