QSL image for KR6C

Greetings,

My name is Charles, I also go by Chuck, Charlie or Chas depending on what mode im operating :-) My QTH is in the far south west corner of the Mojave Desert in the Antelope Valley. Grid DM04vp.
I received my Novice ticket (KA6CSC) on May 11, 1978, thanks to the help of my High School friend and Elmer, David, N6HD.
I changed my call to KR6C in 1995. I operate mostly CW, with some SSB & RTTY. I am on the DXCC Honor Roll and have DXCC awards on 9 bands (160-10M). I am a Past President of theSo. Cal. DX Club (2001) and President of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics ARC (K6LMA / W6LS) in Palmdale, CA. and the Trustee for W6LS.

Radio: Yaesu FT-1000MP Mk-V Field
Amplifier: Dentron MLA-2500
Tower: US Tower TMM-433HD (33ft) w/12ft mast (~13M)
Antennas: Force-12 C4SXL (10/15/20/40M) @ 40ft (~12M)

K9AY type receive loop

I also operate HF Mobile using an Icom IC-706 MKII and 36in "The Screwdriver" antenna with 5ft. whip. I mostly operate CW but occasionally SSB & RTTY/PSK. I use the "Wolphi" Interface connected to my Droid Incredible-2 Cell phone with DroidRTTY/PSK apps. Yes, I hate to admit but thats a Cobra-29 (11M) radio under the IC-706. It is ONLY used for Off-Road applications :-)

My Vacation home is located in the San Bernadino Forest, in the town of Big Bear, at 6800 ft.
