I got my ham license back in 1987 as LB9JC a license I had for about 6 months before I got my full license LA4JGA. I am born in 1963 and found interest in electronics very early. started with CB radio when I was 14 years old and has from that time always been doing something with radio and electronics :-) I work as a electronic engineer with product from Bang & Olufsen. Today my ham gear is mostly Icom, I have the IC 7700 and a 756 Pro III in the shack and a IC7000 for portable operation’s As a PA I have the SPE Expert 1K-FA amplifier and also some home brew with 8877 tube. The antennas for HF is mounted in a 17m tower with the the Fritzel FB dx 606 beam on the top together with 4 elm Hy gain beam for 6m band. I love DX on 10-15- and 20m because there is where i have the best antenna solution. The plan is to make a sloper system for 40m this summer, and also set up my Big IR from steppir for dx on 80 and 40m. On Vhf and Uhf I use the Icom IC-E2820.My wife Tone LA5XRA also got her license in 2008 but she is not that active yet on HF, but talks mostly with some of our radio friends on the local vhf repeater.
