I was born in Buenos Aires in 1948 and I am radioham from 1965 when I was 16.- I am Industrial Engineering and worked in three importants companies in Buenos Aires as Plant Manager and as Operations Manager.-

Married, with three children, enjoy amateur radio a lot, at this moment with 315 countries, and Honor Roll on the Argentine Radio Club.-

I transmit from my home, near the dowtown of Buenos Aires, and also from Mar del Plata,400 kms. south of BsAs on the border of South Atlantic Ocean, as LU1ALF/D during at least four monts of the year.- On the past I operate on the army as LU4 ERM from Magdalena (RCTan8), BsAs. and before when I was a teenager as LU1EAF from MdPlata also.-

My transceivers are:

- Icom 718 +AT 180 (only in PSK 31)

- Yaesu FT-2000 D + Yaesu Linear Amplifier FL 2100 Z

- Icom 775 DSP + IC-2KL Linear Amplifier +IC-AT 500

- Yaesu FT 101 B + Ameritron Lineal Amplifier AL 811

 

Also I like casual shortwave listening, and have 1 Icom R 8500, 1 Hallicrafters SX-42 (the great ¡¡¡), 1 Hallicrafters SX 61, 1 Hallicrafters SX 111, 1 Hallicrafters SX 71, 1 Hallicrafters 40, 1 Collins 5IS-I, 1 Hammarlund SP-600, 1 Hammarlund HQ 180, 1 Hammarlund HQ 100, 1 Drake SW 8 and 1 Grundig Satellit 3400.-

My antennas, on BsAs one three elements Walmar TR3340 and a 80 mts. dipole,and in Mar del Plata also a three elements Walmar TR3340, 1 G5RB (MFJ) dipole, a simple 20 mts. dipole and a Eaves SO239 shortwave receiving antenna.

No problem QSL direct but I prefer bureau.- If direct please enclose addressed envelope and u$$ 2 or 1 IRC for postage, isn´t will be returned Via Bureau. Sorry for the increase but postage cost have risen here.-
