Hi all,

Thanks for looking me up, I was first licensed in 1996 as a Novice licencee 2M1GII, then 2M0ARG before the new license classes came into existence. I passed the RAE course in 1998 and became MM0BUL operating at my parents QTH (MM0BHX - father) in central Scotland. My sister is also licensed and living over in Northern Ireland, 2I1GIH.

My main interests are VHF/UHF contesting and I am a member of the Travelling Wave Contest Group (TWCG) and I hope to be active as much as I can either portable or from the home on 6m, 2m, 70cms and 23cms.

I am a member of a Scottish Contest Group GM0B where we take part in HF contests throughout the year, main contest being CQWW SSB/CW. The contest group take part in IOTA from EU123 the Isle of Bute.

VHF Setup

6m - Icom IC9100 with ACOM 1000 amplifer and 3 element LFA

2m - Icom IC9100 with 11 element tonna

70cms - Icom IC9100 and 19 element tonna

23cms - Icom IC9100 and 35 element tonna
