I have been a licenced amateur since 2001, and have really enjoyed using the bands, H.F. and V.H.F., Previous to my amateur career, I listened to broadcast bands. I have just started to teach others, in our hobby, which i find very enjoyable. This picture was taken at a place called Charmy Down just outside Bath where our club did the nfd July contest the weather was atrocious although the blue sky does not support the rain and wind hence I am wearing water proofs..
We have changed the location of the NFD.. we no longer use the site at Charmy....
