You may have worked me as M0JEC/MM in the last year or so, and I hope to be back on ship later this year as well.

also my friend Jonathan (2E0VJO) was working supervised under that call on board the SS Shieldhall at Berth 29 Southampton Docks

see http://www.ss-shieldhall.co.uk for information about the ship and the appeal, good news is the Shieldhall is back taking passengers.

However fundraising is still needed to keep her operational during the rest of this year.

SS Shieldhall is the largest steam ship still operating in Northern Europe and the last of her kind.

The machinery on board is very similar, on a smaller scale, to that carried on the ill fated "Titanic", which makes "Shieldhall" a unique link with the past

Please help preserve this wonderful peice of maritime history.

Also I'm returning to the air with GB60VUL at the end of April 2012, please listen out for us and if you wish to QSL direct do so via my detils above.

see GB60VUL qrz.com page for more information. Thank you.
