Hi, I have been a Radio Amature since 2010, I passed the foundation exam in December 2010, the intermediate in March 2011 and the advanced January 2012.

I enjoy both HF DX and a rag chew on 2 meters via the local repeater or Echo link.

Radios,

Kenwood TS 570 DG, Yaesu 857D, Quansheng tv-uv2 2Mtr/70Cm Handy.

Antennas,

40 mtr long inverted L end fed wire with 9.1 unun 160-6 mtr.

40mtr wire dipole 1.1 Balun.

Sirio GP27 5/8 wave 6.5 mtr vertical for 17-10 mtr.

Homebrew 2mtr halfwave vertical J Pole.

Home brew 6mtr dipole loft mounted.  

Homebrew six meter tall ground mounted vertical, centre loaded for 20 - 10 mtr's.

Home brew 3element beam 144 MHz.  

Home brew 4 element beam 432 MHz.

Both beams use my10mtr. Push up mast.
