I live in the historical town of Rugby in the county of Warwickshire where the beautiful game was invented by William Webb Ellis. Rugby is also home to a massive antenna farm that was used during the war. We also have the famous Rugby school where the novel Tom Brown's school days was created.

Rugby is also the Birth place of the jet engine that was invented by Sir Frank Whittle.

Warwickshire is also home to Warwick Castle, Coventry City FC, Coventry Airport and the birth place of not just the Rugby, but William Shakespeare too.

My first choice in radio is 6m. I listen to 6m for many hours listening for beacons and weak signals. 6M is a very difficult band to operate properly, that's why I love it, I find it very challenging and satisfying unlike the easy HF bands.

My main radio is the Yaesu FT920 5 element 50MHz LFA Yagi (4.1m) with Yaesu G450 rotator just for 6M band

Yaesu FT857D with Diamond W2000 for 6/2/70cm

I also use a Yaesu FT1500 for 2m mobile FM mobile only.
