Planned M6ADB/P Activations
Code Of Conduct
M6ADB fully supports the DX Code of Conduct
If you hear me, when I am operating /portable, please spot me on the Cluster. Thanks!
Also, please give me an honest signal report - I'm running 10W only, so will not be offended if I receive a 52 or a 53 if that is my signal strength. Please don't justgive me a 59 to get in the log. this doesn't help me understand my propogation.
And please, I don't need to know your full station configuration - especially if we are in a pile-up situation. Your name and your QTH (and any relevant references) is all that is needed. Thanks.
Other Planned Activations
Planning underway for activations of a number of other WCA/CASHOTA castles, SOTA summits and WFF reserves. Please come back for updates.
Other Activity
M6ADB/A Activity
My work QTH is Mytchett Place, CASHOTA/WCA G-452 (WAB: SU85, EPC: UK.SR.SH) - when I am QRV from here, I will sign using the /A (alternate location) suffix
RSGB IOTA Marathon
During 2012 and 2013, all contacts with M6ADB (including special calls MQ6ADB and MO6ADB, and regional call MW6ADB) will qualify for the RSGB IOTA Marathon. My reference will be EU-005 (Great Britain) unless otherwise stated.
If you are working from an island, please ensure I have your reference - especially when I am running /A /P or /M and cannot look you up. Thank you.

QSL Information
General Policy
For all activations, paper QSL cards are welcomed, and I will reply by return (via bureau or direct). For direct QSLs, no payment is required - if you send me one, I will send you one. Feel free to email me to request a card to speed things up (especially if sending via the bureau).
For Special Events (eg the Royal Wedding) I will QSL 100% via bureau.
Please address QSL cards for MR6ADB, MQ6ADB and MW6ADB via M6ADB - especially if sending through the bureau.
SWL Reports
As a QRP operator, I always welcome, and am happy to QSL, genuine SWL reports subject to two rules:
- The QSO appears in my log
- The QSO was not spotted on the DX cluster
Rule (2) is to stop people scrapping the cluster; hopefully all SWLs will understand?!
My QSL Cards
My normal QSL card (see image above) shows the South Downs National Park (WFF GFF-018) taken from Black Down Hill (SOTA G/SE-003).
My QSL cards are printed by UX5UO Print and count as one point towards their Fair QSLer Award
Online Logs
I upload my logs to eQSL, ClubLog and to the LoTW (last updated 19-Nov-2011) - please let me know if you are missing a match.
I also upload logs to the SOTA, WCA and WFF websites (as appropriate).
Please ensure you log any appropriate modifiers (eg /A or /M or /P) to ensure the QSOs match.
