Hi Everyone,

My name is Robbie.I live four miles from the City of Newry which is in the South East part of Northern Ireland. Newry is about 35 miles South from Belfast and is located close to the border with the Irish Republic. I have been on the Radio since 1980.I have been licenced as a Ham Radio Operator since December 2006 when I passed my Foundation exam.On the 20/03/09 i also passed my intermediate test and I owe a big thanks to the Mid Ulster Amateur Radio Club for their help.

This is an update,On the 23/12/09 my wife and i passed our Advanced Amateur Radio Exam which means that we are both Full Call operators. So i have to say a big THANKS to my friend MI0SAP who helped both of us with the technical bits. I really like working HF as I love the DX. I use FM for local QSO's, also use the Echo-link system from time to time.

My Station comprises of simple but effective equipment. My HF Radio is an Icom IC7700 my antenna is a 3 element yagi Beam made by steppIR. I also have a Comet CHA250B which covers 6 through 80 Metres. The Rotator is aPro.sis.tel pst61d.

My FM station is an Icom IC746 with a Sharmans X-510 vertical antenna and 11element yagi beam for 2 meters.

Ok thats the general information about the station and my location. I hope to meet you all on the air sometime. I work all bands and if you are looking here on www.qrz.comperhaps we've already met. Thanks for the look up and enjoy the Radio.

I Return QSL's 100%. You can QSL Via E-QSL,DIRECT or via BUREAU.

Take Care and Best Wishes From Robbie (MI0RRE)
