Interests are Radio my Job my Pets, Music and of course my wife!, we both enjoy our Camping weeks away just to chill, I'm also a keen Football Fan.

My main interest is DX, the ARRL's DXCC programme.

I also use a MFJ-9420 20m with the CW add on for use in my garden for the short occasions the sun shines, PWR, 7 Watts with a simple homemade Dipole on a temporary fibreglass mast 8M ASL.
Antennas:
Force 12 C-4E 9 Element Yagi on a 12m mast.
Butternut HF-2V vertical for 40 & 80m, ground mounted with 44 Radials in the ground.
Simple home made Dipole for 30m.
Home made Delta Loop for 6m.
I am a VHF & GMDSS Marine radio operator, I also work as Deck Crew, part-time cover onboard an ex Trent class Lifeboat which has now been refurbished/converted suitable for use as a survey vessel for offshore surveys, crew transfers, etc. The link I have on my Page directs you to my place of Work where I work as a VTS (Vessel Traffic System) Operator.
