The picture shows typical portable set up. At the back 3-Element 2m beam, pointing at GB3SS in this picture. At the front Buddipole on 40/20/17m with a 6m dipole above. I also use an end fed wire in two versions trapped and untrapped.  A solar panel on the ground feeds radio batteries only. A large panel sits permanently on the roof for domestic battery power and via split charge relay to radio batteries.

I use the Buddipole for its compactness when on "proper" caravan sites and the end fed wires when I have more room.  For portable ops I am QRV on HF via my TS-480 and on 2m via a Microwave Modules transverter.
