Became active duty officer in US Air Force Medical Corps in 2008 at age 53! I have been practicing medicine since 1986 as a cardiologist, critical care specialist, medical school professor and physician executive.

Served in Iraq during Feb to Sept 2010 as a trauma critical care doc.

Operated predominately RTTY from Maryland while on active duty.

Active military obligation finished in October, 2012. Returned to home QTH in Connecticut.

In June of 2013 refurbished tower with new M2 log periodic 10-40 meters and M2 rotor.

Still have my Flex-3000 but the main operating station is the new Flex-6700. WOW! It is a THRILL!

I am mainly a CW DXer and small pistol contester. Very much enjoy RTTY and dabble with other digital modes. Not big into phone.

Member of Eastern Connecticut Amateur Radio Association since 1993 and ARRL.

Wife (Lea) of 31 marvelous years is N1TLN.
