A nomad, a wanderer, lover of everything beautiful. A lover of life, wine, exotic and forgotten places, hidden corners, and small things that could be beautiful. A lover of stars, mountain tops, little kisses, and voices from around the planet.

Just finished a story of my dxpedition  "Around The World The Hard Way". It is up on my website now at www.davidschoen.com/

Also photos of my mountaintop and antennas in the N2KK gallery on the site.

I've been mostly an 80 meter dx'er with 332 dxcc countries confirmed, but have a strong interest in dx'ing on 160 and 6 meters as well as the WARC bands.

Not QRV at the moment, but will return to the air after a long layoff, in 2014.
