Mitch started his career at IBM in 1979 doing device level design on state of the art Bipolar SRAM’s. Here he worked on cutting edge technologies as well as new designs. He also opened new territory with design tools including test of Auto Place and Route (APR) tools and developing new checking methodologies. In 1995 he joined Intel, Arizona and worked on high speed serial I/O including PCI-Express generation 2, USB 2.0(conceived of and designed the first working prototype), CSI, and LVDS. He also managed design groups on various projects and developed circuits from concept to silicon. He is currently working as a consultant to Coco Chip Design Services specializing in leading edge ultra low power designs. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Union College in Schenectady, NY and completed a three-year course in Electronics Engineering Technology at DeVry Technical Institute.
