Click for more detail... Growing up in upstate NY I was given my start into electronics (which later became my career) from Oreste Ferraro, WA2TLC, who has since become a silent key. Unfortunately he never saw me get my license but I am sure would be proud to know that I am now Extra class. Hams can have a great impact on young people searching for fun and education. I upgraded from Tech class to Extra when the morse code requirement was removed (2/23/07); it was a life long stumbling block for me. So I am new to HF. I became Tech class in 1993. My Icom 746Pro is used, besides for Ham work, for SWL, utility station decoding and BBX dx'ing. I was lucky enough to be featured in the Popular Communications magazine March 2007 Vip Spotlight column. I have many hobbies which I swing back and forth from during the year. My web site has info on my rocketry, astronomy, SWL, RC, HO trains and Flight Simulator hobbies. If you like talking about sports or movie stars, I can't help you. But if you like talking about model rocketry or Flight Simulator or the Lord, give me a call on the air. Last modified: Sat Dec 13 03:58:39 2008 Does this page contain inappropriate content?
