First licensed (Conditional) in 1970 as WB4QNO while stationed in Australia. Also, during that deployment, I held VK6RZ and operated from the NAVCOMMSTA Harold E. Holt club station - VK6US. Converted to General in 1974 while stationed in Maryland with callsign WA3WGP, then, in Virginia, upgraded to Extra as K4UDT. Over the years also held KI4LSA, N3BM, and now, W7OLY in honor of the new QTH in Olympia, WA and the old Olympia brewery, which is missed.
